Stories in the Landscape International Film Festival

The Stories in the Landscape International Film Festival is dedicated to celebrating films in which place matters. The festival highlights works that use cities, villages, rivers, mountains, or cultural environments as integral parts of storytelling.

Our mission is to bring global attention to landscapes that shape human identity, showcasing how environment, culture, and narrative intersect to create powerful cinematic experiences.

Our Vision

We believe that the environments we inhabit are not just backdrops to our stories, but active participants in shaping narratives, identities, and experiences. Our festival seeks to honor films that understand and express this profound relationship.

The inaugural 2025 edition was held in Los Angeles, USA, receiving submissions from more than 30 countries. Filmmakers delivered powerful, visually striking works that explore how people and place shape one another.
